My Training Approach for Women: The 3 Phases of The Synergy Method

You have tried to eat less. You have tried to train harder. And your body still has not changed. I want you to hear this clearly: it was never about effort. It was the method.
I coach busy, high achieving women over 30 who work 40 plus hours a week and have tried everything. Over 1,500 women have used my Synergy Method to get the flat stomach, the snatched waist, the lifted glutes, and the confidence to wear the sleeveless dress, the fitted skirt at work and the bikini.
The Synergy Method has 3 pillars: Training, Nutrition and Accountability. The 3 phases below are how those pillars work together, step by step.

Phase 1: Metabolic Reset

This is reverse dieting. Most women come to me after years on 1,200 calories. Their brain is in starvation mode, and it holds on to fat to protect them.

So I do the opposite of what you expect. I give you MORE food, step by step, and I add strength training to build muscle. Your brain leaves starvation mode, your metabolism goes up, and your calories go up, not down.

Here is why this matters. When a man cuts his food, his body burns stored fat. When a woman cuts her food, her brain reads starvation and holds on to the fat. That is why the same diet works for him and not for you.

I explain this in full in Eat More to Lose Weight: Why Busy Women Over 30 Get Better Results Eating More Food.

Phase 2: Fat Loss

Now your metabolism is high and you have more muscle, so fat burning becomes easy.

I use a moderate deficit, never an extreme one. You eat 25 to 30 grams of protein in every meal, with balanced carbs and healthy fats. You strength train 3 times a week, and you walk. Your fat percentage drops while your muscle stays. That is how your stomach gets flatter and your waist gets smaller, without losing your shape.

Phase 3: Maintenance

You keep it off for life. The habits stay, your meals repeat, and there is no rebound. That is how my clients lose fat and keep it off long term.

How I Build Muscle in Women

Muscle is what gives you the shape: the lifted glutes, the toned arms, the small waist. I build it with strength training 3 times a week. Every session builds on the last one, and you eat enough food to make it work. No bulk, just shape.

What a Phase Looks Like With a 10 Hour Workday

You do not need hours. In every phase, I build the plan around your real calendar:

  • Training: 3 strength sessions a week, around 30 minutes each, at home, in a gym or in a hotel room.
  • Food: your meals repeat, so you never decide from zero at 7pm.
  • Movement: walking, not endless cardio.

Your phase lengths and your exact numbers are set personally inside coaching. I never publish them, because your body is not a template.

The Proof

My client lost 40 kilos while working 40 hours a week in tech. She ate more, trained 3 times a week, and her body finally changed. Read her story: How My Client Lost 40 Kilos While Working 40 Hours a Week in Tech.

Frequently Asked Questions- FAQ

1. Will I gain weight in Phase 1?

Your food goes up and you start building muscle. The scale can stay the same while your clothes get looser, so I watch how your body changes, not just the number.

2. How long is each phase?

It depends on your body and your life, so I set it for you inside coaching. I never publish phase lengths.

3. Do I count calories?

I set your food numbers for you inside coaching, so you do not have to guess or figure it out alone.

4. What if I travel?

I build your plan around your real life, trips included. Your meals repeat and I build in flexible options, so a trip never means starting over.
