How My Client Lost 40 Kilos While Working 40 Hours a Week in Tech

Her Life Before

My one client works in tech, 40 hour weeks, with regular business trips and travels back to India to visit family. On paper, she was doing everything right. She trained four to five times a week and ate clean, and she was still seeing no changes.

She was stuck in the restrict and binge cycle, working hard and getting nowhere, and by the time she reached out, she was exhausted from trying so hard for nothing. That combination, doing everything “correctly” and still being stuck, is one of the most frustrating places a woman can be, because it feels like there’s nothing left to fix.

What We Changed

We built her a fully customized nutrition plan, more food, not less, up to 2100 calories a day, high protein, with her favorite foods included and a structure she could actually keep while traveling.

On training, we cut her down to lifting only three times a week with a structured strength program, instead of training almost every day. Less volume, more intention.

Everything was tailored around her real life: her work calendar, her business trips, and her travels to India, with repeatable meals and flexible options built in for the road, so a trip didn’t mean starting over.

The Result

She lost 40 kilos. She’s out of the restrict and binge cycle, more confident than she’s ever been, and her skin stayed tight because we built muscle while she lost the fat. And she’s not done yet.

What This Means for You

If you’re training constantly, eating clean, and still stuck, more effort is not the missing piece. This is the core of how I coach, and after more than 1,500 women, the pattern is always the same. The plan needs to fit your actual life, including your travel and your job, not fight against it. Less can genuinely be more when the structure is right.

Frequently Asked Questions- FAQ

  1. Why did training less actually help she lose more?
Training almost every day with no real structure was creating fatigue without results. Three focused strength sessions a week, paired with enough food to recover, did more than daily training ever did.
  2. How do you build a plan around frequent travel?
Through repeatable meals and flexible options that travel with you, so a business trip or a visit home doesn’t mean abandoning the plan.
  3. Is it normal to see no results even while eating clean and training often?
Yes, especially when calories are too low or training volume is too high relative to recovery. It’s one of the most common patterns we see.
  4. Can you lose fat and keep your skin tight without surgery?
Building muscle while losing fat, rather than losing weight quickly through restriction, is the main factor in keeping skin looking tight through the process.
